When you’re getting your hair and makeup done for the most important day of your life, you call in the people who make you feel the most beautiful (besides your new husband, of course). So on her wedding day, Paris had hairstylist Eduardo Ponce and makeup artist Steven Tabimba by her side to bring out her bridal glow. Plus, when you have three custom wedding gowns, the glam has to be on point—and naturally, they delivered. Find out exactly what hair and makeup products Eduardo and Steven used for Paris’ big day, as well as the inspo behind the looks.

Paris’ Wedding-Day Makeup

The inspiration behind Paris’ makeup look came from none other than her all-time icon, Marilyn Monroe. “The look is very classic. It’s very heavily inspired by a Marilyn Monroe kind of feel,” says celeb makeup artist Steven Tabimba. And no one knows better than Steven when it comes to helping Paris feel like her best self. “I’ve been working with Paris throughout the whole journey of Paris in Love, from beginning to end,” he says. “She really left it in my hands, and said ‘do your thing. I love the way I feel when you do my makeup, I feel so beautiful.’” And the collab paid off with a makeup look for the ages. “It’s so stunning,” he says of the look.

Prepping the Skin

Before makeup began, Steven moisturized Paris’ gorgeous skin with La Mer’s luxe Moisturizing Cream.

And of course, he used Paris’ own ProDNA eye cream. “I carry it with me, because not only is it great, it’s super-slim and kit-friendly,” says the pro.

Complexion

The look for Paris’ skin was “matte and velvety, like a rose petal,” explains Steven. But a few products helped to enhance her lit-from-within radiance. “Minimal, little pinpoints of glow here and there like a light glow on the cheek just kind of highlight focal points,” says the makeup artist.

He used this medium-coverage foundation to set the perfect canvas. (It comes in 50 shades for the perfect match!)

“I used two different concealers—one to conceal and one to highlight,” says Steven. This one, by Make Up for Ever, was used to conceal.

“To highlight and brighten, I used Hourglass Airbrush Concealer,” he adds.

Every blushing bride needs her blush, and Steven used this pretty rose shade.

Pops of bronzer added contour and glow to Paris’ look.

This pressed powder helped set the velvety look.

Eyes

“The eyes are completely matte, referencing that matte, neutral Marilyn eye,” says Steven. And don’t forget the lashes: “The beautiful soft lash gives the effect of a winged-out look, without having the actual winged liner.”

The eye may have been neutral, but these pretty shades made the look.

On a day filled with emotions, the makeup artist trusted this “ultra-waterproof, smudge-proof, and cry-proof” liquid eyeliner.

These soft yet full lashes brought attention to the eyes, without being overwhelming.

Lips

“The lip is very romantic, very soft, and kind of pink in tone,” explains the makeup artist. And while too much gloss wouldn’t have worked for that iconic first kiss, there’s still a touch of shine.

First things first: Don’t forget the lip liner (in shade “Spice”) to keep the color in place.

Paris was pretty in pink in the Viva Glam II lipstick.

This moisturizing, glossy balm (in shade no. 14) “gives that fresh, full texture to the lip,” according to the makeup pro.

Finishing Touch

A setting spray is every bride’s best friend. Steven used this formula to keep Paris’ makeup picture-perfect all night long.

Paris’ Wedding-Day Hair

Paris chose a classic updo for the occasion, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Eduardo Ponce. “Our overall inspo was ‘timeless beauty,’” Eduardo says of the look. “We wanted Paris to look fresh and chic. The dress is such a masterpiece, we didn’t want to overdo the glam. We kept it clean and simple.”

To create the look, Eduardo used hair products by Unite, and added length to Paris’ iconic blonde hair with Luxy Hair extensions.

Prep and Blowout

The most important step was starting with damp hair. “Prepping hair while wet is very crucial when it comes to a style’s longevity,” says the hairstylist, who used Unite 7seconds and Boosta. “After blow drying I sectioned out her bangs and started shaping the back side.”

“What I love about Unite Boosta is that it adds hold without adding buildup or flakiness,” says Eduardo. Plus, he adds that it’s nice to have that extra bit of texture. “Since I knew we were doing an updo, I wanted her hair to have that grit,” he says, adding this pro tip: “Clean hair is never ideal for an updo.”

Adding Length

“I added Luxy clip in extensions for fullness,” says the stylist.

“I love using Unite Session Max at the base of the hair after teasing it before clipping in extensions. This adds more grit for extensions to stay in place.”

Shaping the Updo

“I then started shaping hair into a mid-height ponytail,” says Eduardo. “I used Unite Second Day, Session Max and a Útiles hair tie to secure the ponytail.” (Fun fact: The hair ties come in four shades to blend in with different hair colors!)

“Then, I used a cocktail of Unite Second Day and Smooth&Shine throughout the pony to shape it into a sleek bun,” explains the stylist.

“Once it was pinned in place, I started working on the bang piece. I added Luxy clip-ins for length, and using a T3 curling iron I shaped the bangs and used Smooth&Shine to tame any flyaways. Last but not least, “I finished the look using 7seconds Shine Spray and Session Max to lock everything in,” adds the stylist.
